Ups, Downs... then Ups and then Downs

Is it the gender powering the engine behind the mood swings or the age? I guess I won't know until I have the opportunity to raise a boy... but I'm gonna follow my experience and intuition and say that it's probably gender. Its almost impossible to predict Avery's mood lately. She's up. She's down. She's up again. Sometimes the simplest things will turn the switch from happy to raging mad and then back to happy again. Up. Down. Up. Down. Up.

  1. In defense of the gender, I know I personally wouldn't be too happy if someone who is a so-called loved one simply turned a camera on me in my trying moments, as opposed to distracting me from my misery! Maybe the only thing wrong with the gender is the 'opposite one'. ;-)

  3. It has nothing to do with the gender... silly. Its entirely the age. You'll find out when Jr is as old as Avery. She's a baby! Give her a break, this stuff will last somewhat through her PK years and maybe even beyond... and yeah no kidding... it was bad enough when we were little and got video-taped while we were unhappy... these days the girl has to deal with a daddy who blogs it right away! I feel her pain. Come to Auntie Steph, Avery! :) ;)
